From crude oil to transportation fuels, hydrocarbons to polymers, Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc.  has developed ideas, products, and services that have made it one of the top suppliers in the world.  Based in Houston, Texas since 2000, the company operates a Port Arthur, Texas refinery and world class manufacturing facilities all over the United States.

Exploration & Production

Active in Exploration and Production in the United States since 1957, Total E&P USA, Inc. currently has a diverse portfolio of non-operated assets, ranging from deep offshore oil production and exploration in the Gulf of Mexico to onshore unconventional shale gas development. Our upstream research center, also based in Houston, applies innovative, state of the art technologies and superior skills to develop enabling and break-through technology, technical tools and quantitative techniques.

Marketing & Services

Headquartered in Houston, Texas with operations in Rockingham, North Carolina and an ISO Certified blending plant in Linden, New Jersey, TOTAL Specialties USA, manufactures, markets and distributes a wide range of high-performance lubricants for the automotive and heavy duty sectors. Other major activities include our Special Fluids, Additives, Marine Fuel and Aviation sectors.

Gas & Power

Total Gas & Power North America, Inc. (TGPNA) has been engaged in natural gas physical and financial trading and marketing activities in the U.S. since 1990. TGPNA’s currently trades natural gas, petcoke, natural gas liquids (NGL) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the USA and worldwide markets.

Crude Oil and Refined Products Trading & Marketing

Atlantic Trading & Marketing, Inc. (ATMI) actively trades most crude oil grades and nearly all qualities of refined petroleum products. Through our commitment to the oil markets, we have become a major player in the various markets-physical, futures and derivatives. As a leader in the development of energy price risk management, ATMI provides a complete service to refining companies and crude oil producers aimed at optimizing their economics and helping them cope with short and long term risks and imbalances.

New Energies

As an energy producer and provider, we are striving to diversify our supply to help meet growing energy demand in the long term. Active in photovoltaic solar energy since 1983 and biofuels since 1992, we are investing in renewable energies that emit less greenhouse gases.

Specialty Chemicals

Our Specialty Chemicals companies include, Total Cray Valley (resins), Hutchinson and Barry Controls (rubber processing), Bostik, Inc. (adhesives), and Atotech USA, Inc. (electroplating).
