Total Celebrates Diversity in Engineering at UT Austin

Austin, TX - Total’s Head of University Relations, Monique Simon joined colleagues from Total in the US for a night of celebration at the University of Texas at Austin. Total received a Corporate Excellence Award at the annual Women in Engineering Program (WEP) event, a wonderful tribute to the company’s commitment to gender diversity.

The WEP Corporate Excellence Award recognizes companies that have demonstrated exceptional support of WEP initiatives through financial contributions, innovative involvement, program development and assistance, and volunteer participation. At the Evening with Industry Banquet, WEP recognized Total S.A. in front of over 350 students, faculty and staff from the Cockrell School of Engineering and over 90 representatives from 40 sponsoring companies.

Total wishes to thank to Tricia Berry and Ana Dison from UT Women in Engineering Program, the WEP team for organizing this networking event, as well as all the faculty, students and other industry representatives who celebrated at the gala.
