Totally Committed to Community

Total sponsors the Houston Food Bank and our Committed to Community employee volunteers recently visited the Houston Food Bank to prepare backpacks for kids to take home as part of the Backpack Buddy program.

This initiative makes a difference in the lives of children in need by providing six meals to many who would otherwise not receive enough nourishment.  The bags are discreetly distributed at schools around Houston each Friday and contain enough nutritious food to eat over the weekend for kids who depend on free or reduced breakfast and lunch at school during the week.
